How should i get rid of a stye? i tried compresses!!?

i have been trying compresses for a while now and it's lessened but i need to get rid of it fast! and i've had this since february and my doctor told me it was a stye not a chalazion. also i got antibiotics to prevent it from becoming infectious...help!!
