My friend is going out with girl i like?

okay, my friend (ex friend now, he's a jerk) is going out with the girl i like. i liked her, and her apparently me but he being the jerk he was (and is) said she didn't like me, so he was responsible for me not being with her. Now he's with her. It was probably all planned out. And he hasn't been that great to her. They've broken up maybe once before and again two weeks ago, but got back together. Im totally pissed off at him, and ive dealt with him being very manipulative and jerk-ish for plenty of time now and i've had it. Im not contacting him anymore. But now I need to get over this girl, who I told how I felt, and she wasnt sure what she thought. She just told me that she's getting back with him and that she cares about me only as a friend >.< so now im pissed and upset and all that but whatever. The situation has been going on for almost two years, and it cant be too healthy. So i need to get over this chick (who is inherently intelligent, beautiful, funny, and she actually listens to good music!). I should get over this girl, cause liking her won't get me anywhere. Any advice?
