I squeezed a cup in my sweatshirt pocket, and water came out and in my PSP. Help please.?

Earlier today my dad asked me to bring in the trash and there was a cup of water/soda. I grabbed the cup and my psp and cell phone was in my sweater pocket. My hands were full with papers, magazines, and the cup. so I was like dropping some stuff and when I threw every thing away, I saw my sweater was all wet. My cell phone got wet, but that is fine. I didn't play my PSP up until an hour ago because I thought it was fine and I noticed when I hit the X on, it sort of delayed. I got up and took the battery out and there was like droplets of water on the inside of the battery compartment, so I wi[ed that with my shirt and shook my PSP. I restored it to default settings, took out memory stick, UMD, etc. and now when I turn it on the power light is blank, but the LCD screen is fine. The battery also says 3 bars (meaning full) and the light shutters and blanks. And it is just the X on that is not working. Note that it is a PSP-3000 and I bought it in Summer '09. Please help. :) Thank you!
