Sea level rise attributable to Global Warming, myth, just proven it.?
*At this point*, the sea level has risen something like a fifth of a meter, afaik--maybe less. There are, to my knowledge, few or no habitable islands or the like *that* close to sea level, because that's well within the range of tidal variation. Those places that are that close to sea level (like the Netherlands, or parts of New Orleans) will have things like levys and dams to keep from being flooded regularly by the ocean. But the change in sea level, along with the global warming that is causing it, has been accelerating. This means that places that are a meter or less above sea level will soon either need to take extensive measures to prevent inundation, or move to higher ground.
