Do you consider Nu-Metal...to be Metal?

Actually that's a pretty old argument I used to "have" the days I was getting into rock through nu metal.I've stopped caring about whether what I listen to is "real" anything....... (and I'm not implying you are,it's that usually that's where these things start from...),I think it's meaningless-but if you want to get technical,I'd call nu metal anything from alternative rock/metal to post-grunge,to rap/rock- indeed,it bears no similarity whatsoever with,say,NWOBHM,power,thrash,whatever.
