Grrrrr... Let begin by saying that I have always preferred Pampers diapers to Huggies because my daughter has been less likely to projectile poop through the Pampers. Even if you cut all of the executives to zero, there is not enough unless you cut the union wages are cut drastically. Hi! It sounds like you may have an impedance mismatch with your effects loop in adding the Dunlop pedal. Some amplifiers have the ability to switch effect loop levels; however, the Peavey ValveKing 212 Combo has a fixed “buffered” effects loop intended for low-level equipment. Try connecting the pedal between the guitar and the input jack, which is typically where wah effects are placed. I know from a wiring standpoint this is more trouble, but at least you will have isolated the problem. You may even find that running the entire effects chain between the guitar and input jack sounds better, and could also eliminate the feedback issue. Your effects chain looks fine, although you may want to try placing the whammy in front of the delay. That way, you are not altering the pitch of the delay with the whammy pedal, only the primary effects-processed signal. Best regards, Dana

How to Tame/Train Blue Diamond Dove?

I have a female blue diamond white-rumped Dove named Valkyrie. I bought her from Petsmart over a month a go. I have tried to tame her and it just doesn't seem to be doing any good. I gave her three weeks to settle into her new environment. She is a very anxious bird. Even if you go near the cage she panics and paces the other side of the cage. I have done the "small room" technique with her and try to tire her out and get her to perch on my finger. It does little good because as soon as I try to give her water, she flies. And even if I do get her to perch on my finger and give her water and talk to her sweetly, the next day is back to square one. She coos because she wants to escape. I try to let her fly around but she just perches in my closet and stays there. Any help?

So here the story goes: I have been getting all the signs & symptoms that i am pregnant ive been getting them for about 2 & a half weeks now ... i have takin about 3 pregnancy tests all cam up ''Negative'' 1 line! & i took another one today when i first woke up to go the toilet in the morning & i held the pregnancy test stick in my urine stream for about 7-8seconds & it came up with 1 dark line & then i left it on my dressing table in my room & went back to it 10mins later & they their was a very VERY faint line? Now ... The faint line was a really think line alot thinner to the thick negative one so i waited about half an hour & then i took another test & then it had no faint line at all? only 1 negative line WHY? what does that meen? but when done the first test a bit of my urine when on the actuall window of where the lines come up? & thats why im thinking thats what made the other 2nd fainty line come up cause i accidently pee's on it & i think my urine got inside of the window?

Yes and i wouldn't be without it. You can never tell if your new puppy will have accident or illness and vet bills are cheap and can run in to thousands. Some people say put money aside in the bank every week but unless you can start by opening the account with thousands not the best idea. I mean you puppy could become seriosly ill or injured at any time and you may not have saved that much. Pet insurance is one of those things you hope you never need but are glad you have it when you do. It means if your puppy/dog needs expensive vet care all you have to worry about is get the dog better not how you will pay for it. You might try to write it with an interesting mood or perspective- or if you make the girl who gets pregnant a really interesting character. Knocked-up teens are usually portrayed as either sluts, or wallowing in self-pity. However, look at the movie Juno- she takes the whole thing with a dry sense of humor, which makes her moments of weakness even more profound. My advice is work really hard at the character development and even harder on finding an original, somewhat humorous style. Stay away from angst. Best of luck.

ok so this ticks me off i'm a full-time college student and often find myself on a tight budget to me $5 could mean a days worth of food. ok so not to be stingy or anything but why should i tip my hairdresser an extra $5 WHEN SHE charges $25 for a haircut...and why is it that some people expect you to tip them when they are totally rude etc. a waitress. at a bar or club you pay minimum $5 for a drink plus expected to pay an extra $1 ok that sometimes bums me out when i go out and sometimes i'm kept from doing certain things . so now why is it that our society has accustomed to such thing "tipping" or expect for one to tip I love to tip when i have been treated great but sometimes these people are rude...not all of them but most of them.

Earlier today my dad asked me to bring in the trash and there was a cup of water/soda. I grabbed the cup and my psp and cell phone was in my sweater pocket. My hands were full with papers, magazines, and the cup. so I was like dropping some stuff and when I threw every thing away, I saw my sweater was all wet. My cell phone got wet, but that is fine. I didn't play my PSP up until an hour ago because I thought it was fine and I noticed when I hit the X on, it sort of delayed. I got up and took the battery out and there was like droplets of water on the inside of the battery compartment, so I wi[ed that with my shirt and shook my PSP. I restored it to default settings, took out memory stick, UMD, etc. and now when I turn it on the power light is blank, but the LCD screen is fine. The battery also says 3 bars (meaning full) and the light shutters and blanks. And it is just the X on that is not working. Note that it is a PSP-3000 and I bought it in Summer '09. My last prenatal appointment was at 13 weeks. The nurse told me that I probably would not be able to hear my baby's heartbeat yet but she would try and work a miracle. She said I should definitely hear a heartbeat at 16 weeks. Has anyone else had this experience. I am very worried. My newly bought Hamster may have "fleas"?

I recently bough a Campbell Russian Male Hamster and he has fur loss on his back-end. He bites and scratches a lot which usually means the animal has fleas. Diabetes and mood swings destroying my life?

I'm a regular guy who gets extremely angry and pissed off when my blood sugar gets high...like around 200-300. I get depressed and don't care about anything, not even my family, girlfriend or myself when my blood sugar is that high. It's like getting tunnel vision and can't see anything in my mind but doom and gloom. I treat my girlfriend like dirt when i'm like that and im sick of it but i can't seem to help it. I just want to run away and die all the time. I literally hate life and have been like this as long as i can remember. I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes but my girlfriend says she doesn't act that way when her blood sugar gets high and now that i think of it neither do my parents who are both diabetics as well. So, i'm wondering is there something else that could be connected to my psychotic episodes when my blood sugar is out of control. I use insulin to help control my blood sugar but my mood swings are getting the best of me.

Replacing Nissan Altima '97 GXE Airbag kit?

Hi. I am your average "Girl" when it comes to car. Though I am a DIY'er with duties such as Oil Changes and tune ups, I find myself stumped on this issue. Recently, a family member drove my car in a recent snow blizzard but when met with a huge lump of snow, the car rebelled. The air bags came out and I was told that they were probably "activated". I had two, no actually three choices. Buy a new car, replace with new air bags or replace with used air bags. Through several consultations, Ive decided on used and am content in my decision thus far. I have found an air bag kit from a reputable dealer but am stumped again. Should I get the bags with a certain color, such as the color that was in my current deflated air bags or does it matter? Also, is the kit going to be enough? Why arent I losing weight?

Im 14 and short. Like 5'1". i use to weigh 130 pounds when i was 12 but know im 102. The lowest ive ever been is 96 and that was in about january. I wouldnt say im thin i would say im about average but im trying to loose more fat and get more defined around my stomach and chest area. I run for 50 minutes EVERY DAY. occasionally ill skip running for a day. I also workout regularly like 4 or 5 times a week. Im also not too far into puberty so im uming that might have to do with it a little? My diet usually consists of grilled chicken, turkey , lean cuisines, peanut er sandwich (the bread i use is wheat, 45 calories per slice and i barely put any peanut er on the bread) and thats about it. I also eat subway turkey sandwiches and chick fil-a chargrilled chicken sandwich. I drink propel zero and occasionally diet soda. Im not really seeing any results in the mirror so i wouldnt say im staying neutral by gaining muscle and loosing fat because it sure doesnt seem like it.

Soak the soil. I live in Phoenix too, and whenever I have to dig, I cut a shallow trench (I usually only ever have to dig trenches) a couple inches down and fill it with water. When the water settles through the soil, it will soften it, so you can dig fairly easily by hand. Also the water settling will help to level it out. Go to H.D. and pick up a bunch of bags of steer manure. It's cheap and good. If you want free manure, go to a horse farmer. Till it into the soil. You don't need to till very deep for gr. Use the perennial Rye for your winter lawn. It's more expensive, and not as fine as the annual, but you'll save money with reseeding next year.

Stormdrain diverting septic runoff ???

My neighboor across the road has their septic tanks leechfield next to a storm drain. The grey water percs up through the soil, into the storm drain, under the road, under my livingroom, where it seems to lay because of a blocked pipe somewhere down the line further. the septic ges come up through the floor and permeate the entire house. This used to happen several times a day, but since we've addressed the prob. with the neighbor, it only happens about once a day, usually late at night. A township supervisor told me that the pipe has nothing to do with the township so I went to dig it up and block it on my property, anyway..... the grounds frozen so i can't dig it up. We live a tiny little close knit community, but noone wants to fix it. Anyone have any suggestions about what to do???

3 year old has a fever and got sick this morning.?

My 3 year old son (just turned 3 last week) woke me up around 8:00 this morning to ask for juice and he was whiney and wimpering. He told me he wanted to go back to bed which I found really odd. But he went back to bed so I did too. Around 9:00 he came in and got me again and was just really whiney and wimpery. I noticed he felt warm but nothing too bad. So I got his pillow and blanket and got him set up on the couch and went down the list on what hurts. He said no to everything except his ears. I thought for sure he must have an ear infection. I went and took and his temp. and it was in the 99 range. I woke up my husband and told me I think I'm going to call the Ped. just incase. When I came back out he started getting sick. He got sick about 3 times in matter of a minute or two. After that he just layed around for a couple hours. He did drink some juice and kept it down. Around noon he played outside for a bit but then came back in and wanted to lay down and he fell asleep for about an hour. It's 4:30 now and I took him temp. orally and through his ear and it ranges from 99.5 -101.1. The 101.1 was through his ear. The oral one was 100. He wanted some chex mix earlier so he ate a handful or two of that and I gave him some Gatorade. He seems in good spirits just wants to keep laying down and watch TV but seems pretty normal other than that. What do you think he has? I was sure he must have a bug. What do you think? He's really never been sick except a few colds here and there in his 3 years of life. Thank you!!!

Question on a clical/opera evil sounding song?

there is a song that is used in a lot of movies that I hear all the time and it's used mainly when there is a presence or evil or preparation for war. I'm 16 and am more of an outfielder, but I do pitch occasionally. Right now I throw a 4 seam, a 2 seam, a change and curve that has good movement, but due to my 3/4 arm slot, tends to run a lot, and only drop a little. I'd like to throw one that is more 12-6, wether I add it to the arsenal, or scrap the curve i have now in favor of a 12-6. The problem is i can never seem to throw such a pitch. I have tried every grip i can think of, including that of a knuckle curve, but i can never seem to get on top of it; it just hangs up there. Another question: how can I get more spin on either of these pitches so it is more disguised? There isn't a weight restriction for fliers. It's usually the shortest, strongest girls that fly though. And seeing as you're 4'11', you would really almost have to fly because you can't really be a base because bases need to be of equal or close to equal height, and most other people around your height will probably fly. You can't back or front, because they're the tallest girls. And as a cheerleader, I know that being dropped is kind of scary, but you have a ton of people holding you up, and in years of cheerleading, I've never seen anyone not be caught before they hit the ground. I usually base, but I'll fly sometimes too. For your try out, make sure you smile and use facial expressions. That makes a huge difference in your audition, even if you mess up, you need to smile! I have a huge problem with my husband about Christmas. We have a six month old baby and we live 1 1/2 hours from our family. My husband and I have been together for 3 years and married for 3 months. Throughout the relationship I lived with my parents in grad school and did not work before moving in with him. My husband has a very broken relationship with his family. HIs mother is definitely an alcoholic and they have a very detached relationship. On the other hand, my family and I have a close but normal relationship. My parents buy things for their grandson and come see him about once every 3 weeks. My father treats us to dinner when he comes up, which is not very often, and has treated my husband to an NFL game. I talk to my mom maybe twice a week. However my husband claims that I am attached to my parents. I invited my parents and his family up for Thanksgiving. Only my parents came and his mother did not as she is unreliable. He feels that this was a problem because we should have spent the day alone. Now we had been buying gifts and doing things preparing to go visit for Christmas, and out of the blue he decides he does not want to go. He has been sleeping in the other room and not talking all over this for two days. I said that I rarely get to see my family, this is our son's first Christmas, and I want everyone to get a chance to see us and spend time with family. Also, my husband acts annoyed whenever my family comes around, which is not often and they are not rude or intrusive, and he gets annoyed when I am on the phone with them which is maybe once or twice a week for 30 minutes or less. My parents and I NEVER talk about issues in our relationship. I am at my wits end. I feel that he does not want me to ociate with my family and is being quite possessive. We live in a rental in the country, The town water well is located down the road from our house less than a mile. We have well water.We found out that the town water is double the legal uranium level! This is very bad! Two step daughters who lie and steal.?

I have two step daughters, ages 12 and 11. They both steal and lie. Usually, it is just food and small things. Once the oldest took $12 off the table. Here is a little background info. Their real mother hasn't seen them in 3 years (no telephone calls, cards, nothing) and before the last time she saw them it had been 4 years. She does absolutely nothing for them and never has. She even states that she doesn't care nor have the time. Anyways, I know that most of this probably stems from that neglect and abandonment, but I don't think that it makes it excusable. We have put them in counseling for over a year and nothing has changed. We have tried all kinds of different punishments when they get caught (reward chart, allowance, presents, grounding, privileges being taken away, exercise and twice). Nothing works. The oldest is also very manipulative and a super drama queen for example she is in volleyball and they have to run 2 miles every week to keep in shape when we take her to the track she cries and pretends to throw up but only when other people are around if no one is around then she is just fine. She will do whatever it takes to get attention (we give them so much love and attention that we don't even have time for us anymore). Obviously, the younger one has followed in her footsteps. They both call me mommy and have for the last 5 years, but the oldest one will frequently say I want my ''real mommy'' and will tell her sister that she hates me but only after she gets in trouble for doing something that she KNEW was WRONG. I am tired of it----I do a lot for them and I treat them no differently than if they were mine--nobody except my family even knows that they are not biologically mine. Also they have even attended a Reality Check program through the Sheriffs department and the very same night we were back to square one. I don't know what to do. Its to the point that I don't want to be around them and that hurts me because I love them so much. Also they have started lying and stealing together and then banding together and not telling on each other or telling the truth; therefore, we don't know who actually did what. What worries me the most is that they are able to keep lies up for months at time and I personally think that they are a little bit sociopathic. Someone please help me!

Fallout 3. Is it scary?

Between 2 or 3 where it's not suppose to scare to purposly but I there are some creepy parts where you just turn around and surprise yourself, but it's very laughable after it's all over. Ford F250 mpg and other info?

They come with a 5.4l engine or a v10... The 5.4 will get around 10-12mpg. That is a very small engine to be pushing such a large truck. I had the Expedition with the 5.4 and that got about 9 mpg in the city and around 12 on the highway... You could almost watch it move. I've installed the chips and programs to most of my vehicles and I have never noticed a difference in mpg.... The BEST item to increase MPG has to be a K&N filter....Good luck!

Punch on on/off switches suck. They short easy depending on the type. It might appear to work fine. I know mine did. I've had this happen to me. I switched back to up down toggle switches. I hate push ons.

2005 dodge neon sxt electrical problems?

My car has never had problems with it but recently the check engine light came on. Tested the codes, nothing came up. When I stop at a stop sign or red light, the check oil and airbag lights come on, but then turn off again when I accelerate. While I accelerate after I get up to about 60, the speedometer and RPM things drop to zero and sometimes go back up. Long shot.. but anyone have any idea what this could be?

The sellers are paying $2500 of closing costs, and so do we need a 3% down that we incorporate into the loan we were told by the woman at the bank. But she also said that we can only take out what the home appraises for 102%. Looking at the data of the home it was appraised this year for $100,300, that's not who we hired to appraise, but if the appraisal we do is around that being that its the same year and not much has changed, 102% would only be $101,023 or something not allowing enough for the 3% down or any closing costs. Are we understanding all of this correctly? Are we going to need to come up with the cash or will it all be able to be funded...?
